this is an honours communication design project, where we had to create a series of information graphics for a hypothetical newspaper section around the idea of ‘australia in figures’. each information graphic also had its own smartphone counterpart.
1/3 major projects submitted!!!!!!! (there was more to this project but i didn’t want to post it). as of tomorrow, two will be done and dusted (plus a big presentation). come on 3pm!!!!!!! reblogging myself!!!!

it’s nearly one of my favourite times of the year: eurovision.
most eurovisions, i hang out at home with my mum and sister and get drunk and have near-hysterical conversations with friends over the internet about things like ‘omg did you just see greece’s entry hooooly shit’ and ‘JEDWARD!!!!!!!!!!!WOW!!!!!!’
last year i went to sydney for vivid just after it aired and stood around vierboom’s kitchen, wasted and singing songs from the competition with a bunch of people i’d just met. it was awesome. i have no idea what i’m doing this year, but it will include getting drunk at someones house (it may even be mine). when i move out i’m going to throw a huge eurovision party and everyone gets to dress up and the competition will be projected onto a wall. byo googs and glitter.

well and truly sober, my dear. 4th april 2008. lineup was off minor, quebec, cut sick, fabulous muscles and the diamond sea. i think the power went out at one stage (i remember talking to sam in the dark…?) and my mum and dad picked us up afterwards.
i just googled ‘off minor northcote 2008’ and my post was the first result. eeeep.

going through old photos trying to find something, came across this i took when off minor played in northcote in 2008. i didn’t know anyone at the show (except mark and cale) and dragged caitlyn with me so i wasn’t a complete loner. oh lol.

Well I’m still at uni, doing honours this year then I’m free. I freelanced as a typesetter at beat for a month, but I’m looking for work again. Still need to send my folio to a design studio near my uni but tbh they’re way out of my league.
